Java Jumpstart

The March 19th, 2023 Java workshop was a resounding success, providing participants with hands-on training and a strong foundation in Java programming. Participants gained valuable knowledge and expressed gratitude for the interactive and practical learning experience.

Kickstart to python

CSI hosted a successful "Kickstart to Python" workshop on April 9th, 2022. With 305 students registered,the event generated high interest and engagement. Participants showed enthusiasm for Python and expressed a desire to further enhance their knowledge through similar workshops.

Mosaic 2023

Mossiac 2023, organized by SFIT Student Council, was a successful event with 250 attendees out of 300 registrations. The interactive mystery crime game, inspired by "Money Heist," engaged participants in deciphering clues. The event fostered a collaborative atmosphere for technical learning and bonding.

Postman API 101

Sir Ali Mustufa led a highly beneficial API 101 workshop with 80+ participants. Attendees gained valuable insights into Postman's diverse applications in managing API requests and received certificates for their participation.

Building Dapps

In the blockchain workshop conducted by Mr. Vivian Lobo, participants learned about the technology's applications and gained hands-on experience in creating DApps. Mr. Lobo, Deputy HOD and Assistant Professor at St. John College of Engineering and Management, led the engaging session, providing valuable insights to the attendees.

Lights, Camera..Edit🎬

On January 29th, 2022, we hosted a workshop called "Lights, Camera, ... Edit" with Mr. Amey Karhade, a renowned VFX creator and filmmaker, as our guest instructor. The workshop focused on Adobe After Effects software and attracted an overwhelming response, with 133 participants registered and over 70 attendees present.

Front End Devlopment Workshop (2019)

The Computer Society of India - SFIT organized a Front-end Development workshop led by Ms. Jayashree Domala and Mr. Manmohan Dogra on October 12th and 13th, 2019. The workshop covered Bootstrap, HTML CSS, JavaScript, and Font Awesome, equipping 67 students with practical skills to create websites effectively

Ethical Hacking Workshop

CSI-SFIT organized a 2-day 'Ethical Hacking' workshop on February 22nd and 23rd, 2020.Led by Mr. Shivam Sinha, the session covered the basics of hacking,software installation, command line features, and important commands. The interactive workshop had 55 student participants and included breaks for refreshment.

Video Editing Workshop(2020)

CSI-SFIT conducted a 2-day GFX workshop with Mr. Anshul Deodia as the instructor. Participants learned video editing using Premiere Pro, including tools, effects, transitions, and sound. A group task and video presentation were part of the workshop. Volunteers Ms. Shivani Raul, Mr. Gaurav Suvarna, and Mr. Shivam Sinha provided support.

Augmented Reality Workshop

The Computer Society of India - SFIT and TechCryptors hosted a two-day Augmented Reality workshop with Mr. Anurag Mishra. 56 students attended and learned about AR using Vuforia, creating projects like moving dinosaurs, animated gifts,and 3D food models. Mr. Mishra's expertise and interactive sessions made it a valuable experience.

Big Data And Hadoop Workshop

CSI organized a Big Data and Hadoop workshop on March 11th and 12th, conducted by Mr. Anurag Mishra and Mr. Shiv Kumar from Robokart. Topics covered included Big Data introduction, Hadoop Architecture, Hive, and Sqoop. Participants received certificates from Robokart and Innovation Cell,IIT Bombay.

Mosaic 2019

CSI-SFIT's Mosaic event combined fun and technology with games like Avengers: Infinity Quest, Sacred Games: Aham Brahmasmi, and Black Mirror:Shut Up and Dance Scavenger Hunt. Winners received certificates and cash prizes. CSI SFIT's committee members and volunteers played a crucial role in making the event a success.

Mosaic 2018

TECHEIS CASTLE event had two rounds: Google Trends and Game of Life - SFIT Edition. Winners: Bhunesh, Digpal, Pranav, Neitrik, Rusikesh, Tejal Mam. MEME LORD event had a quiz round and a meme treasure hunt. Winners: Nikil, Piyush, Siddant, Ayush.

Mosaic 2017

'It's ShowTime: Take 2' was a successful event organized during Mosaic, the Annual Technical Festival. 14 teams with 60 participants competed in three rounds, and the winning team received a cash prize of Rs 1000, with the second-place team winning Rs 750.
